Scavengers

As I took our son to the rail station for 6.30am I was struck - at 4 separate locations - by the destruction created by the seagulls with rubbish.

It was strewn everywhere and no doubt the council staff would get round to tidying it up. A bit of care in leaving out the rubbish might no doubt help.

It is a sharp contrast with our recent experience in France (albeit with fewer seagulls and in more rural touristy areas). where in a fortnight travelling around (and we drove 1,000 miles) we spotted litter once.

This was within 10 meters of Greyfriars Bobby
