Out of Office
Lunchtime was spent meeting up with my oldest friend and her family. I haven't seen her for fifteen years, despite the exchange of regular emails and birthday presents. I regaled her grown up daughters with tales from when were teenagers together (the night in jail, the crashed car), and managed to head her off before she got going on my youthful indiscretions. Fortunately, I think she's completely forgotten about the incident with the RE teacher.
Later, it was shopping for dad, followed by the usual trot along Porty beach, where I came across Neil sitting on an old office chair. He was either giving working from home a fairly broad interpretation, or he's providing holiday cover for King Canute.
