The Fire Line

Central Oregon got some much needed rain today and yet there are more thunderstorms this afternoon.

I was told that a wildfire had jumped the highway a few days ago but was open.

I found a safe parking spot nearby and walked the service road the looked like was used for a firebreak. 

This plant had no chance.
