Do Not Chase The Birds

This sign stands near the start of a sandbar on which many birds nest or feed - many of them protected. The sandbar is also a place where people love to walk and exercise their dogs.

The sign was made and erected by a class at a local Primary School.The teacher himself is a keen conservationist and each year he does a great job of educating and encouraging the 10 year old children in his class to respect and conserve the natural world around them.

Sadly the sign is falling into disrepair but hopefully it will still act as a reminder to those using the sandbar.
