National Museum Cardiff

I placed my phone on the floor in the main foyer of the National Museum Cardiff to capture this shot of the inside of the domed roof.

Our main reason for visiting the museum was to see the Chalkie Davies exhibition. This comprises a number of photographs of (mainly British) singers and bands from the 1970s and 1980s. This was perfect for us as we wandered around the display, reminded of the music of our 'era'. We were the only ones in the exhibition for most of the time that we were there, so were quite uninhibited shouting across to one another things like 'Didn't we go and see this band in France?', 'Gosh X looks young!', and 'I used to have a dress/top/pair of trousers/shoes just like that!'.

Then it was back to H's house for Sunday lunch, packing, and the journeys home: Mr hazelh and I to Edinburgh, and S to the Isle of Man. We'll most likely see one another again next April. Somehow we cooked up a plan to run in the 2016 Manchester (half) marathon...

Exercise today: none again, other than a bit of walking.
