Immigrants

This Harlequin ladybird is not native and is a pest as it is cannibalistic and kills native ladybirds.  After taking the picture I despatched it humanely.

During the afternoon,  our motorhome alarm kept going off and each time we found a brown butterfly fluttering around inside which had set off the alarm.

After the third one,  it occurred to us that it may be related to the caterpillar incident that we experienced in Corsica (See the story in this blip - especially the extra picture)

It's quite possible that we missed some caterpillars which have now hatched out.

We thought we had managed to get back from Calais without any illegal immigrants but maybe not :-(    Hope they aren't going to be a pest.
