The Old Brickworks

These old Bee Hive kilns have been here since 1910 and stopped being used in the 80's. They're starting to deteriorate badly and vandals have caused a lot of damage in recent times. There is talk of demolishing them even though they are heritage listed as the land is in a prime area and worth quite a bit, developers have big plans. It would be sad to see them go!

It was such a cold but sunny day thought I would take Toto for a long walk around this area to warm us up! Apart from that I've been very lazy after such a big week!! :)

My extra is of a beautiful banksia we came across near the kilns.
