The moment it all came together

I choose this photo for two reasons, one it's 11.15 pm and after a wonderful but long day I am really tired and I had too many photos to look through, but secondly it showed the centre point of the day. It was taken on my camera but not by me as I am on the mic giving the oration before the ribbon was cut. The crowds came out in enormous numbers and it was a such a hot and wonderful day.

Shortly after this our 94 year old Mr Cricket Club Geof cut the ribbon and the new pavilion was born.
