Smoo..

Today has been rather pleasant. A walk out over the hill with my brother. And then a drive up to Durness with five of us and Tanni. Went to Smoo cave, that's my eldest brother in the pic.. It was quite impressive, with plenty of water in the burn. The inner tour wasn't operating, because the river was too high, and it was Sunday! Met an 85 year old man with his blind wife, and the rough walking and steps didn't deter them..

Then went on to Balnakiel golf course, and had a picnic sandwich in the car as it was raining, and then a walk out around the coastal path, spotting many wild flowers including the very rare Scottish Primrose..

My brother tells me we did 5 miles today from his phone app. He did well as he has problems with his feet..
