Turkey Vulture Wing Tip Feather

I found a wing tip feather from a mature Turkey Vulture on the road side today.
I actually saw the bird lift off from the spot where I found the feather.
It’s 16 ½ inches (41 cm) long!
It is, without doubt, the coolest feather I’ve ever found.
Due to it's unique shape, I believe this is one of the feathers out at tip of the wing that look like spread fingers on a soaring vulture.
Certainly a great day to be out on my bike.
