The Honourees

Dave and Sheila were well and truly surprised by the anniversary party their daughter arranged for them. When the guests outnumbered the host's ability to accommodate them, the party was held at the local community centre. These centres are scattered all over Winnipeg and have a kitchen, meeting space, change rooms for hockey, soccer etc. and a place to warm up for the outdoor skaters in winter. Great places. The one near where S grew up even had tennis courts.
Back to Dave and Sheila...Dave is S's cousin. He and Sheila were celebrating their 40th anniversary, and their 70th birthdays. Families are scattered all over the country so an excuse to come together is great.
