Lake Louise

We have spent the day hiking up and around beautiful lakes. We visited Lake Louise first where the weather wasn't so good, but the scenery was still beautiful. We did a long hike up to a tea shop way up the mountain. The people who work there have to do a 5 day shift and stay up there, as the only way there is to walk. Supplies are dropped in by helicopter and everything is cooked on the fire. We saw them filling the kettles from the lake. Amazing!

We then went on to visit Lake Moraine (see extra photos). The water here was even more blue and the scenery was stunning.
