Tower Bridge!
Day in London today, what a horrible day it was - pouring with rain all day, not a scrap of blue in the sky. I was early for my meeting so walked down to the Thames Path to try and get some photos - I got absolutely soaked, the things we do for a blip opportunity!
I was surprised to see the huge boat moored in front of the Belfast, dwarfing it - apparently it moors there during the summer occasionally and belongs to a Sheikh! I had trouble picking my blip today - the other scene I nearly blipped was a picture of the Shard, with the top completely shrouded in a murky mist. It is here if you want to see.
But in the end, I couldn't resist this busy photo of the liner, smaller boats, a very grey and cold looking Thames, fantastic street lamp (did you see the fish on top of it? The building behind it out of view, is the old Billingsgate Fish Market) and of course, the wonderful Tower Bridge!
And next time I go to London in the summer, I'm taking a towel as well as an umbrella!
