Me & my lovely friends got (finally!) some rain and cooler air for our hike to Garibaldi Lake which is a large glacier lake some 1500m above the sea level (250m deep!). I think after the draught and smokes, we quite enjoyed the fresh and humid even if we lost some of the scenery.
The elevation from a parking lot to the lake is 900m on a 9K one way trail. So the round trip with photo stops and a good lunch break took us some 6 hours. The Black Tusk nearby but with double the elevation is now on a bucket list!
