Leavers 2015

I had to take Daughter to school this morning to distribute the Yearbook.

As Chairperson of the yearbook committee this book has given her much pleasure and pain. The kids have been great giving her photos of their time at school together and composing profiles about themselves. However, the headteacher has not been happy with the content and was demanding that comments be censored. The kids were not prepared to compromise and so the resulting book has had to have all references to the school removed.  Luckily they have still been able to publish comments from teachers who have known them since first year.

She was a bit nervous this morning as it was the first time she had seen the finished book. Glad to say the book is great. A great reminder of their time together. 

So far no complaints from parents. Fingers crossed.
