Beach shot

Interesting plant growing in the sand. Perhaps someone with a botanical background will be able to assist with identifying what it is. Very common on the beach so sure it isn't a ground breaking discovery!

This photo was taken yesterday so it is a bit of a cheat but all I did today was visit a few people in their homes and do a spin class. I'm sure that I inadvertently attended the advanced class as it was bloody hard but as you can imagine, not much to photograph.
