I was going to take up the Mono Monday Autumn challenge (however it's middle of the summer in UK) but as soon as I picked my kids from child-minder my son was overly excited showing his book signed by Alex Scheffler - Gruffalo illustrator and quickly followed by daughter sticking her book signed as well! Alex came to our school as part of Book Trust Week last Wednesday but because of the volume of books (one kid one book) he needed to return today to finish it off. He did really well not only autographing them but also drew lovely Gruffalo characters.
A lovely thing to cherish me thinks for years to come ... we love his illustrations :-)
