Jubileebecake!

I was generally pretty rubbish at celebrating the Jubliee this year.. although I have been a Scottish resident for over 4 years now, my roots firmly lay in rural England with Queen and Country..but I well and truly let the side down I am afraid..

I did manage to dig out a Union Jack and hang it from my window..but I realised that it looked rather odd (and also blocked my neighbours view) so I took it down after a short period of time..!

My way of making up for this was eating cake...I think this is perfectly acceptable as a way of making up for things in general life situations. Cake is a great healer..there was a Union Jack in my tummy!! What more could Queenie possibly want!!
