Home at last!

Spent three very happy days touring round the Central Highlands in the camper van along with hubster & three doggies. We didn't fight, ate well & slept well. Thank God for his breathing machine otherwise it would be separate vans! Two of the dogs cuddle up under the bed and Sam the old boy sleeps in the captain seat. Weather was not too bad. We left no1 son at his new digs & work in Inverness then did a mini Outlander tour to the Clava cairns, & Ruthven Barracks . Our first campsite in Dalneis near Nairn was very good. We then drove down to Aviemore and stayed at the High Range campsite which I thoroughly recommend also. All very friendly folks, well organised and clean.
Today we drove up the Cairngorms, then toddled across country on roads less well travelled and ended up at the Falls of Dochart Killin. We then crossed over toward home and stopped at Kilchurn castle as hubby had never been up close to it and today it was open so well worth a visit.
Dogs are exhausted and haven't moved off their big comfy cushion since they came home. Finally the van was a joy to drive even on the littliest roads and warm & comfy. This is probably the first time in a long time I actually relaxed and became a tourist instead of a tour guide.
A few extra shots of the trip
