Day 13!!

Only 3 more days to go!! The radiation team is as happy as I am that the treatment is nearing the end and I can move on to stage 3....a daily dose of a hormone inhibitor. But, I have enjoyed the daily lunches in different restaurants around Missoula before the drive home.
This is downtown Missoula's Higgins Avenue, which is the main drag. All the light posts have flower baskets and the June heat-wave played havoc with many of the beautiful baskets....some shrivelled and died. Main Street crosses Higgins and that's where we dined today....at Biga Pizza. Pronounced Bee-gah, it is the starter dough of the day's dough-making. We shared a caramelized sweet onion and goat cheese pizza on the best crust and cooked in a big wood-fired oven. Yummy! Radiation hasn't affected my appetite...can ya tell? It ain't Kryptonite, Superman! They also have the best salads there, as well. But not today...  ;-)
