morning mist

I hit the road at 5.30 this morning heading for North Yorkshire. There are many routes to choose from but the key today was to avoid Harrogate as it’s the first day of the Great Yorkshire Show and I was warned that traffic congestion starts early. 

Decided on the most northerly route …… it’s the longest but is easy driving. I hadn’t planned to stop on the way for a blip but the mist on and around Skiddaw was just too good to pass without stopping.
