Top of the world!

Joe, navigating his final days in primary school, received his final report and his SATs results today. He couldn't have been happier, and neither could we. He's excelled himself this year, smashed his SATs and made us all super proud.

It's a challenging and scary time though, everything rushing headlong right at him, and whilst we want to hold his hand through it all, part of his story now (and ours), is to hit these challenges solo and try to find out how he stands in this grand adventure we call life.

I am equal parts not envious of him, and insanely excited for him. I think half of how I navigated my childhood and adolescence was sheer blind luck, but it all must've worked out ok if it led to producing this fantastic kid.
