70 years ago...

...my maternal grandfather was on his way across the Atlantic by ship. He wrote details about the engine of the ship he was working on in this book. I don't understand any of the technical information but it's very interesting to see where he went. The book runs from May 1945 to February 1951 and according to his calculations, he covered 300,928 (presumably nautical) miles.
