Favourite Day

Sports Day is definitely one of my favourite days of the year. My vantage point from the scorers' caravan always makes for the best views and they did themselves proud this year. And then a full school assembly in a very warm sports hall with one questionable musical performance and one very beautiful one. And a bit of a moment when one of our very brave Y7s was practically given a standing ovation for his resilience award.

Some phone calls at the end of the day regarding changes for September went much better than expected and then home to do some more work on Thursday's big assembly, having walked Bailey. He has just about put up with me being behind a computer screen all evening. The end is definitely in sight.
