Rookery

I love the noise of the rookery in the woods beside me. The chatter brings with it a sense of calm and is broken only by the arrival of an intruder. Rooks, like crows, tend to swarm on anything in the bird world that might bring danger.so lone hawks or owls are no match and move swiftly on. Better than an alarm system and as good as a flock of geese for keeping away unwanted intruders....Just saying
