Sick husband. Only partially self-inflicted.

When I was home home*, my Dad gave me another bag full of largely crime novels. For a very late adopter to the kindle app, I read surprisingly few real books these days and even on the iPad I've been going through a phase of non-fiction semi business related books. It's nice to dip back into some quick read indulgence.

* I've moved around a lot. Wherever I live quickly becomes home. Heck I even call hotels home if I'm there for more than a few nights. The NE was always home home. K found this slightly unsettling at first but after nearly 30 years of use, it's a phrase that's kind of stuck. And it's where I'm from. It does define me to a certain extent.
