Mendenhall Glacier

What a lovely excursion we took to see this stunning glacier outside Juneau, Alaska.  I took two hike in the area...one to see the glacier and another to a waterfalls.  I'll add an extra of the falls next.  Unfortunately this , as many other glaciers, is receding rapidly and largely due to the impace of humankind.  Still a breathtaking site and here is a link to some more information on it and worries about it's remaining protected.
