Waterfall

You descend into the Jamison Valley from Point Solitary at East Katoomba. The path leads you on to Leura Forest via lots of waterfalls, babbling brooks, rocky overhangs, a profusion of ferns and terrific views. I didn't have a tripod and so the exposure is not as long as I might have liked it. Looking at the shot again, due to the faster shutter, the impact of the falling water seems to have a violence and a thudding sound that it might have lacked if I'd achieved the "fairy floss" look.
