All together again <3

Today started with an early morning rave!
Emma and I met on the train at 7 am and went to Ministry of Sound for Morning Gloryville, an early morning rave, it was from 6-10.30, we got there at 8, were smothered in glitter and danced for 2.5 hours, we especially liked the last DJ Miles Metric, it was great and we will go again! Then we went to the V&A to see the Alexander McQueen exhibition as Emma hadn't been and loved it of course, she also hadn't been to the cafe which she loved!

We were both very tired after all that!

Our friends Rachael and Kevin and family are over from Perth for a couple of months and tonight they came over with daughters Lauryn and Kaitlyn and friend James so all the children could spend some time together before Lauryn and James go back home tomorrow. Zebedee is now taller than Lauryn for the first time!

We met in Bali in 2011 and have remained friends ever since, although they live on the other side of the world we have seen more of them than most of our friends, over the last 3 years they've spent the summers here in the UK and I have seen them many times in Australia and we have had 2 holidays with all the children in Bali as well.
Rachael cooked a delicious Portuguese pork vindaloo and brought it over with her, yummy!

They bought me a portable record player for my Birthday, it's pink and has a lovely floral pattern, we got all the old 45s out of the cupboard, listened to Money Money Money by Abba, My Woman afrom Tokyo and Smoke On The Water by Deep Purple, Miss U by the Stones, Ashes to Ashes/Bowie, Paranoid/Sabbath, Sailing by Christopher Cross etc etc... what fun!
