A few days ago I ordered an adapter to let me use an m42 lens on my Nikon, and it finally came. I've got a really crappy old 55mm f/2.8 manual focus Vivitar lens and it has great nuances and little weirdnesses, with an incredibly soft focus, and for whatever reason, the focus past about ten feet doesn't exist, which I couldn't tell on my film camera. It's definitely a fun lens and it has a bigger maximum aperture than the rest of my lenses so it was nice to get to play on an instant feedback camera.

Lyrial always makes a good model.
