Change of Venue

It has been a long day. Woke up at 3 am for a 6 am flight to Amsterdam followed by a 10 hour flight to San Franciso. We arrived at our hotel early afternoon local time. The picture shows the view from the room, or at least one of the views, there is another view a we have a corner room.

After taking time to recover from the travel we had a wander round the neighbourhood and a beer at one of the bars in Union Square. After another walk we retired to Macy's for a coffee, this was largely a caffeine boost to help us stay awake. Finally a fairly early light dinner at a restaurant on Powell Street.

Fairly early night, tomorrow is another day, this one lasted 26 waking hours, tomorrow the day will be of the standard length.
