It's Grim Up North

Tide

Thirty six hours of sunshine and the power washers are out and droning away. Did people wash patios before power washers? I don't recall my great aunts in Eastbourne getting down on their hands and knees to scrub the crazy paving. They did have a huge goldfish, though.
The sun has also brought out the keen butterfly spotters. They were everywhere on this morning's dog walk. Butterflies and spotters.
Have attacked the creeping buttercups with boiling water. If that doesn't keep them at bay it will be boiling oil.
