Ok, the answer was indeed....a crab shell. Well done all those who correctly guessed yesterday's mystery texture.
Today I have another cyanotype for you. Thistles are doing very well around these parts right now but I thought I might ring the changes on a well known subject today.
Back shortly to do some commenting.
