St Swithens Day

today, and it rained, at least it did this morning. The rest of the day was lovely.
Went to see Mum it being her birthday, she was her usual muddled repetitive self but was delighted to see me as always.
Had some good news on the sons job search. He had an interview this morning and was offered the job! Just a six month contract but he's pleased as it could lead to a permanent contract if all goes well.
Anyway the day just whizzed past and the logs and stepping stones we collected yesterday remain in the van one more night!
