Something of the Night

Arisaema candidissimum, perhaps the prettiest of a genus that has flowers that might be described as having something of the night about them.  Hooded flowers, often in sombre colours and sometimes hidden among the leaves and growing in shady places.  Despite this, or perhaps because of it, they have considerable popularity.  

No change for Ruth at the hospital but at least she is mostly in good spirits.  For us the days have got shorter .... each of us spends almost half the day there or getting there.
