Three pointed star

Flew to Basel today to drive through Alsace in the new Mercedes GLC, which is essentially a taller and more rugged 4x4 based on the C-Class saloon.

Tonight's hotel is in Strasbourg, where many of the buildings in the old town are medieval. Not this one though, which used to be a royal stud.

We had supper seranaded by a jazz trio, and it was tapas style, with a series of small dishes. These wafer cones aren't the dessert, they contain beef tartare!
