I spotted this scene on the way in to work this morning. I pass this old cat every day and it's usually sat on the pavement watching the world go by and doesn't move out of the way for anyone.

I always assumed he was too old and slow to move but he managed to catch this poor little bird ( who was still alive ) and was using it as a plaything. Nature ( or at least the cat part of it ) can be cruel. It was too late for me to save the bird which had gone in to shock. So today's blip is .....
