Swan, Cygnets and Heron, Haddo Trout Lake

I made another trip to Formartine's and to Haddo Trout Lake today, and was rewarded with the sight of the two swans and four surviving cygnets swimming on the lake. (On the last few visits, they've been sitting together close to the anglers' huts on the far side of the lake.)

Here, one of the parents and two of the cygnets are seen feeding on the duckweed (the others were feeding a short distance away) while to the right of the photograph, a Heron hunts for fish in the shallows beside the opposite shore.
