Gonna be a scorcher

When I was a kid in New Jersey where the summers were really hot, you could feel the heat coming when you got up in the morning and people would say it's gonna be a scorcher .
That doesn't happen very often here in Munich, but I think today is one of those days. It's gonna be a scorcher!
