Cool Brood.

Thursday morning early walk with everybody there! Brilliant!

It was dull and grey though and actually rather cool but when we reached Coppice a pond this little mother came right across with this new looking brood to brighten up the morning.

They were sticking very close together but one did get separated and came under attack from some of the other ducks and even the older ducklings. We decided they would disperse once we had left the feeding station and then mum would have a better chance of finding her stray which was cheering like mad! Hope so.

Soon after we got home the sun came out and it is now another nice day, so I had my coffee sitting outside.

Big get together with ex colleagues tonight at Chaplins to celebrate the start of the school summer holidays and some retirements. Can't wait!
