Allotments

Allotments date back hundreds of years pointing right back to Anglo Saxon  Times. These are not that old - post war. Handed over to poor people for a small rental in order that they may feed themselves. These gardens are at Kirkoswald ,are well kept and at the moment a riot  of colour.
I just missed a really cute photo of a rabbit doing cute things, like washing his face and whiskers with his paws after dining on someones cabbage.
