... caused by eons, or just years, of extreme weather. Trees become stunted, gnarled, yet still produce leaves. The rocks themselves form layers, twisted by the movements of the earth's crust and we pass through these dramas so lightly. Above the "Trou à l'Ours" early this morning, the view into the back of the Nant Valley with the Dent Favre dominant on the skyline, was breath-taking. I am wondering what is wrong with Piper the dog who was sitting on this ledge with David, just a year ago.
