Today...didn't go as planned, and as we had no concrete plans I think you can tell how much the day was derailed.

Took the teen to his last dives, he now has enough logged that the next step is the master and then instructor - so that's his summer post abitur, theoretically sorted.

Little miss bossy got up, ate breakfast and then an hour or so later took herself back to bed.

Mr K put his doctor's hat on* and with the power of google decided she had an ear infection (earache, nausea, mild fever - all the symptoms apparently). So we loaded her in the car, at which point she became Little miss cranky, and headed off to the pharmacy, which was shut for siesta...sigh. Continued on, thinking we'd find another pharmacy, one with modern working hours, and stumbled across a German doctor's surgery.

Unfortunately Lmb/c doesn't take tablets happily and so the antibiotics were forcibly expelled from her stomach, all over the kitchen floor and the bathroom floor. So now we're praying that the external antibiotic stuff the doc shoved down her ear works, plus a good night's sleep of course.

Could be an interesting flight home on Saturday.

* he's an electrical engineer by degree.
