Sólheimajökull

Today I was able to find an abstract image among my many shots of the day. It was a busy day of very varied hikes. We walked altogether about 20 km and saw Skogar waterfall and many more up and behind it, the airplane wreck on the beach where we walked more than 3 km in a very windy evening but the highlight for me was a hike to the glacier called Sólheimajökull which is retreating very fast, about 100 m a year. This fact made me sad about how disrespectful to our planet we mostly are, it was also seen at the glacier, people treat it as yet another site they visit for entertainment.
