In the pink

Penultimate day at school. Emotions are starting to run high and I know there will be lots of tears tomorrow from kids and staff. Also some staff are leaving both lovely and its unfortunate that for us but good reasons for both. 

I have seen this pigeon every morning for a week or so. Anyone know why he is painted pink or is it just an act of vandalism  He has got some sort of band on his leg too.
