EH10 flora & fauna

Super day today. Started by assembling my mum's new Dyson (DC50 Animal) and having a shot with it on the lounge carpet. Amazing! Enough said.

Back home I gave our Eucalyptus tree it's annual haircut, much to the annoyance of the colony of Bumble Bees feasting on the newly emerged flowers. ( The wee fluffy white ones )
Attacked the neighbour's cottoneaster where it was overhanging our garden, restricting light.
Set up my new long hedge trimmer, and trimmed some hedge. How imaginative?
Cut the grass, then practiced my new putting technique, then took a bunch of shots of the flora and fauna in our garden. I suspect the wee green beastie is only this far north due to global warming, despite the relatively chilly summer we've had so far this year.

Later dined alfresco, on a just today ressurected table, and enjoyed a restorative beer or two. And before you ask, not a lot of sun at teatime – chilly.

Ah well, golf in the rain tomorrow . . . . .
