Sheldonian Heads

Interesting evening in Oxford at the Museum of the History of Science.  They're running a series of talks at the moment linked (in the broadest sense) to the centenary of the death at Gallipoli of the physicist Henry Moseley.

Today's talk was about knitting!  Mostly about the tradition of knitting garments to send to troops serving overseas - I could follow all the historical stuff but when it got into 'doctoral level knitting' I was more than slightly lost.

The Museum is just next door to the Sheldonian Theatre - both are guarded by their collection of Roman Emperors.
