Dinner flowers

Another late blip as I have just got home from a black tie dinner for the professoriate at our university. I have been a professor for over 19 years and there has never been a similar gathering at our university so it was a novelty. I took this picture on the table as I knew I had not taken anything earlier.

Food was great, Indian, and the company was fine if the reason to meet was weird. People who have a similar role to me but often I have not met previously such is the size of the university chatted together. It was black tie so quite nice to dust the tuxedo off. Not sure I would go again even if there is another one but it was ok.
