Final night

Tomorrow is the last day of the summer school, so naturally tonight was pub night. The word went around, and a few of us convened at a local for dinner and a pint.

The summer school has been mixed, with some excellent bits and some slightly less useful bits, but overall worth coming to. Today I had a very encouraging conversation with a central academic in part of my field, and found a few other people working with GIS and historical data. So it's been worth it just for the networking!

But we still have a day to go, it really is bed time now.
