Mermaid Day!

Moira's adventures picked back up today.   Since she loves mermaids this was an easy choice to make.  We made mermaid puppets and an ocean background to have a Mermaid Play.  This was a lot of fun.  My mermaid's name was Ariel and Moira's mermaid's name was Lisa.  Ariel and Lisa went everywhere with us today. 

We had the pleasure of having lunch with my Dad today and Moira colored him a mermaid picture to present to him.  She even gave a mermaid picture to our server at the restaurant who was very sweet and told her to autograph it for him!  After Moira's nap, the rain finally stopped so were able to go swimming like Mermaids. She was a little disappointed that in the hour that she napped, I had not sewed up a mermaid tail for her to wear in the pool!  My little mermaid did not want to come out of the water, until I told her she could have a mermaid snack of seaweed and watch the movie, "Little Mermaid".  Mermaid Day was a success !
